Visible Threat by Janice Cantore. Officer Brinna Caruso wants perfection—perfect justice and a perfect world. She wants to save and protect all the innocents in the world, no matter the cost. Orphaned and struggling to get by, Ivana and her sister left Bulgaria for America with dreams of a better life but this does not happen and Caruso is determined to help but can she?

Blood Brothers by Elias Chacour. As a child, Elias lived in a small Palestinian village in Galilee. When tens of thousands of Palestinians were killed and nearly one million forced into refugee camps in 1948, Elias began a long struggle with how to respond. In Blood Brothers, he blends his riveting life story with historical research to reveal a little-known side of the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Pastors Wife by Jennifer Allee. Maura Sullivan thought she knew what she was getting into when married a soon-to-be pastor. But when “the other woman” in her marriage turned out to be her husband’s congregation, she ran. Six years later, she’s back in the small community for the reading of a will that names both her and Nick as beneficiaries. Now, Maura must face everyone she left behind.
