Good Friday Service 10:30 AM

Communion will be celebrated during the Good Friday service. In keeping with 1 Corinthians 11:27-28 we ask that you examine yourself before the service. We also expect parents to talk about communion and who should participate with their children.

Remember in your prayers:
Jake and Christy, Christian, Natasha and Nia serving in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Our Deacons.

Interlake Men’s breakfast April 11 hosted by Lakeside church in Gimli @ 9am.

A parent and child dedication is being planned for the month of June. Talk to Eric Isaac if you are interested.

Thanks from Bishkek
We are so grateful to each of you who contributed to the bonspiel fundraiser the past several weekends which targeted some pressing needs at the Arms of Love shelter here in Bishkek. Thanks so much to those who volunteered their time. We know that family, C&C members as well as other individuals from the church were involved. It means a lot to know you care about the work we are supporting here, which is ministering very practically to many women & children in desperate situations. We hope God also sends you much encouragement in return!
In addition, the oven which you purchased earlier this year with the muffin & coffee funds is in full use at the centre. Everyday the girls bake bread in it and it’s a crucial part of the fledgling food services business.
Gratefully yours, Jake & Christy

If you are interested in being a part of baptism classes, please talk to Donovan or Eric. We are looking to start classes this spring.

Everyone is welcome to the Beaver Creek Bible Camp Annual General Meeting. It will be at the Riverton Gospel Chapel on April 19th, starting at 5pm. Free food, a dessert draw and a Save the Shoreline Presentation are just a few of the things we’re throwing in on top of the regular camp business talk. We’d love to see all Beaver Creek Bible Camp’s supporters come out for this event.

Faith of My Fathers by Lynn Austin. King Manasseh and his friend Joshua were nurtured together in the faith of their godly fathers. But anger toward God smolders in Manessah’s heart after his father’s unexpected death, and his insecurity makes him easy prey for the false claims of sorcery and divination.

Among the Gods by Lynn Austin. Fleeing King Manasseh’s tyranny, Joshua leads the faithful remnant to their new home in Egypt. But as years pass, Joshua’s desire for vengeance becomes an obsession. Blinded by hatred, he makes rash decisions, placing his loved ones in jeopardy. What will it take for him to grasp the great love his Heavenly Father has for him and for the chosen people of Judah? #5

Multiply by Francis Chan. Jesus gave his followers a command: “Follow me.” And a promise: “And I will equip you to find others to follow me.” We were made to make disciples. This is a Bible study to equip you to carry out Jesus’ ministry. There is a free online video that goes with this Bible study.
