MEMC is in the process of implementing a Child Abuse Prevention Policy. Part of this means slightly changing the way children are dropped off/picked up for Sunday school. Starting March 22 (next Sunday), if you have children in grade 6 or younger, we are asking that you pick up your children from their classes immediately after Sunday school. The teacher will stay in the room until all the children are picked up.
The preschool/kindergarten class and toddler nursery (during the morning service) will require parents signing their children in and out.
A note to all volunteers who work with children: if you haven’t already done so please get your criminal record checks done and give them to Cathy. If you have any questions or concerns about any of this, please talk to Cathy, Donovan, Eric or Jen. Thank you for your participation in making MEMC a safe place for everyone!

A parent and child dedication is being planned for the month of June. Talk to Eric Isaac if you are interested.

Communion will be celebrated during the Good Friday service. (April 3rd, 10:30 a.m.) In keeping with 1 Corinthians 11:27-28 we ask that you examine yourself before the service. We also expect parents to talk about communion and who should participate with their children.

Ramona’s Reach Fundraiser Tournament is happening in Arborg March 28-29.

Youth: Code of Silence by Tim Shoemaker. Cooper, Hiro, and Gordy witness a robbery that leaves a man in a coma. After being seen by the criminals, Cooper makes everyone promise never to reveal what they have seen. Telling the truth could kill them. But remaining silent means an innocent man takes the fall. Is there ever a time to lie? What happens when the truth is dangerous? The three friends, trapped in a code of silence, must face the consequences of choosing right or wrong when both options have their price.

Flywheel by Alex Kendrick. Jay Austin wants to sell used cars in the worst way. Promising much more than he can ever deliver, he’ll do whatever it takes to sell a car. His manipulative ways permeate all of his relationships-even his wife and son know they can’t trust him. But as Jay works on restoring a classic convertible, he begins to see that God is working on restoring him as well.

Holding Your Family Together by Dr. Rich Melheim. Imagine a home where every person feels loved, valued, and heard. Imagine a family that seeks God’s wisdom, will, and Word together. You can make this beautiful picture a reality in your home. But it won’t happen by accident–you need a plan! Share, Read, Talk, Pray, Bless. This is FAITH5, and it has transformed families around the world.
