Jake and Christy and family have arrived in Kyrgyzstan with all their luggage intact along with a healthy dose of jet lag. By now life is taking on a bit more of a routine and nights and days are beginning to sort themselves out. They have been able to move into a 3 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor of a 4 floor walk up apartment building. They enjoyed their first Sunday in a Russian church and enjoyed the fellowship. Jake is beginning to start with classroom prep and meeting the staff. Christy is busy settling the family into their new home, meeting a wonderful support network and trying to find the needed items to begin their life as a missionary family. Everyone seems in good spirits and positive about all the adjustments and challenges they are facing. Christian is excited about a soccer green behind their apartment building and Nia and Natasha have enjoyed the small play structure just outside the parking lot. Christy is thankful for being able to remember the Russian she learned when she was in Russia with Reach and it has come in handy as she converses in the market place. They appreciate our prayers as they settle into their new life.
