November 13 is Care Package assembly night. The MWM prayer and vision seeking evening scheduled for November 5 has been merged with the Care Package night. After the care packages have been assembled we will spend some time sharing and praying for Morweena Women’s Ministry.

Nov. 18 a group from Steinbach Bible College will be leading us in worship during the morning service.

God has led international Christian recording artist, Jodi Faith of (www.jodifaith.com ) to Riverton to produce a television show and DVD based on a live performance of the Christmas story interwoven with her journey of faith. Interlake Christian Films will be taping the three performances (Dec 7-9) in order to produce a television show and DVD for Jodi. You are also invited to attend the first rehearsal to see what the project is all about on Sun. Nov. 25th at 2 pm. at the Riverton Gospel Chapel. MCC Matters, November 17, Plum Coulee Bergthaler Mennonite Church (51 Centre Street North), 9:00-4:00 – Everyone is invited to a day of encounter with and a discussion of MCC Manitoba’s mission activities. The day will feature speaker Mariana Riviera Tinoco from MCC Mexico and workshops on interfaith dialogue between Muslim and Mennonite young adults, Global Family, missing and murdered Aboriginal women, and a Plum Coulee warehouse tour. Registration starts at 8:00.
Meat Canning, November 21-24 – Every year in November MCC’s Mobile Meat Canner makes a stop in Winkler for a 65 hour nonstop operation. Canned meat is then shipped around the world to help those who need it most. Donations and volunteers are needed to help make the event a success. Donate and/or register for a shift at mccmanitoba.ca/canning.
