Remember in Your Prayers

Let’s give thanks for the peace and freedom we enjoy in Canada and let’s pray for peace in areas like the Middle East.

Adea Jensen spent the better part of this last week in the Children’s Hospital with a serious infection. She is on the mend and we thank you for your prayers and support. Because of this, Adea’s baby shower has been postponed to November 24th (at Crystelle’s home in Arborg – 7pm). All women welcome!

Would you please join us? God has led international Christian recording artist, Jodi Faith of www.jodifaith.com to Riverton to produce a television show and DVD based on a live performance of the Christmas story interwoven with her journey of faith. Interlake Christian Films will be taping the three performances (Dec 7-9) in order to produce a television show and DVD for Jodi. If you are interested in being involved in some way please call Matt or Jordan for a CD and info package at 204-378-2459 or cell: 370-5025. You are also invited to attend the first rehearsal to see what the project is all about on Sun. Nov. 25th at 2 pm. at the Riverton Gospel Chapel. Finally, please begin thinking of who you could invite to attend this inspirational and amazing event. For details, follow the links at www.interlakechristianfilms.ca or email Jodi at bobandjodifaith@gmail.com

MCC Matters, November 17, Plum Coulee Bergthaler Mennonite Church (51 Centre Street North), 9:00-4:00 – Everyone is invited to a day of encounter with and a discussion of MCC Manitoba’s mission activities.
