In the church library:

The Colors of Hope by Richard Dahlstrom

It’s time for a fresh vision of the Christian life as a creative adventure.  Christians should be artists who paint the colors of hope in a broken world, embodying Christ’s redemptive presence in our lives, our work, and our relationships.

Remember in Your Prayers:

Peter and Helena Friesen as they travel to Mexico this week. Also pray for their relationships with their family members.

Pray for Eric Isaac as he preaches at the Hodgson Bible Church today.

At the June 13th membership meeting a deacon election was held. Two couples had the most votes. Both of these couples were contacted and one of the couples said ‘no’ and Larry and Danelle Plett said ‘yes’. On July 29th, during the Sunday morning worship service, we will have a vote of affirmation on Larry and Danelle becoming deacons. In order for them to become deacons, we will need two-thirds of the people to be in favour. Ballots will be given to people as they come into the sanctuary that Sunday and members can cast their votes by putting their ballots in the offering bags. If you have any questions feel free to talk to someone from the ministerial.

BCBC

Hi BCBC Friends and Family! This week was Adventure Week. We saw the youngest campers of the entire summer, many of them at camp for the first time, and they had a ton of energy! It was definitely more of a challenge to find ways to reach this younger age group, but praise the Lord that it is Holy Spirit who encounters them exactly how they need to be encountered. There were plenty of opportunities for the campers, who were craving affirmation, to experience the love of Jesus as our staff reached out to them through things like affirming encouragement and complements. Moreover, we saw our Daddy God grow Christian youth closer to him through the Foundations program. Please continue to intercede in prayer for us as we expect that our Lord Jesus will continue to move as the summer progresses!
