We want to express our sincere thanks to the church family for your ongoing support to us after Bert’s burn accident. The visits, phone calls, cards, flowers, groceries, monetary gifts and the prayer support has and is helping us as we go through this.

God bless you all!   Bert & Helen

Thank you to all the volunteers who worked very hard to make the food services at the Senior Games in Arborg a profitable venture. The Jamaica fundraisers earned $1,035.44 towards their mission trip. The playground volunteers raised $2,364.56 towards the MCS playground equipment. A total of $3,400.00 was raised.

In the church library:

Fatherless Generation by John Sowers

The story of fatherlessness is being written into the heart of our generation.  It is heard in our songs, seen in our movies, read in our blogs.  Through John’s personal story, he exposes the shame of millions growing up without fathers and points the reader in the direction of hope and compassionate action.

Surveys for Morweena Women’s Ministry are due today. (We’ll give you a few extra days.) Please take some time to fill yours out and return it to the MWM mailbox. There are extra copies in the MWM mailbox if you need one.
